West of England Combined Authority
Leadership & Management Support
This is a large award for Business Services — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 57,319 valued Business Services tenders in our corpus.
The project will provide at the minimum a level 3 (National Qualification Level) accredited Leadership & Management (L&M) qualification, supporting increases in productivity and resilience in SMEs.
This will be through a broad base of knowledge and skills that can be used by aspiring or existing managers in their own small and medium enterprises, to support their workforce and maximise business growth.
The training course will be required to inbuild the principles of the West of England Good Employment Charter, where the objective of the support is to not only enable businesses to improve their base of L&M capability, but also approaches to supporting greater levels of inclusion, diversity and sustainability.
Which in turn will support a growth in turnover, staff retention and the opportunity to attract new customers and enter new markets.
All of which are essential to support improvements in business productivity and resilience.
Hence, there is a specific requirement to work in partnership with the West of England Good Employment Charter team to deliver the overall objectives of the Charter.
There is also a requirement to signpost to further upskilling and progression opportunities for the SME workforce, using Skills Connect as the main referral point.
Tenderers must respond to the ITT via the CA's ATAMIS e-tendering portal https://weca-atamis.my.site.com/s/Welcome
