National Framework for Refit and Refurbishment Solutions

The Red Kite Learning Trust are looking to establish a framework of Contractors for refit and refurbishment contracts within the UK.

The framework will cover, but is not limited to, refurbishment and refit requirements.

The framework agreement will be established for a period of 3 years from 01 March 2019, with the option to extend for a further period of up to 1 year at the discretion of the Contracting Authority and subject to satisfactory performance.

This framework agreement is being advertised and tendered, so it can be utilised by all Public-sector bodies, including Charities n the UK (the full list is available in the Tender synopsis on the In-Tend portal - https://in-tendhost.co.uk/pagabo/aspx/home).

Public sector bodies as outlined above who may wish to access this framework at some future date may approach the appointed Organisation to either, directly appoint or further compete their requirement.

The procurement will involve a single stage process following the Public Contract Regulations 2015 Open Procedure.

It is recognised that there may be an overlap with some of the Frameworks managed by Pagabo where there are some elements of refit and refurbishment.

Where this is unclear going forward and a potential overlap in the scope, the use of the Refit and Refurbishment Framework shall be based on the overall scope and budget of the refit and refurbishment being 80% or more.
