Centro Park and Ride Considerate Parking Management
This sits in the upper-middle of the Other Community & Personal Services band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 5,835 valued Other Community & Personal Services tenders in our corpus.
Providing safe and well managed car parks for our customers is the driving force for Centro to retender it's considerate car park enforcement scheme that commenced in September 2014.
Centro are seeking submissions from suitable suppliers for the continued provision of fully managed considerate car park enforcement at our 59 Rail and Metro Park and Ride locations throughout the West Midlands.
This will relate to vehicles being identified as causing obstructions when parking outside of authorised bays and therefore blocking access routes for pedestrians and other vehicles as well as the misuse of Blue Badge parking without displaying a Blue Badge, electric vehicle bays and car sharing bays.
Tenderers are requested to submit priced responses based upon the provision of correctly worded enforcement signage.
Suppliers are encouraged to undertake a full audit at each location in advance of submitting their tender.
Centro would want to authorise the wording on the signs being used before they are displayed.
Bidders should provide a call off resource to visit locations identified by Centro for a minimum of 1000 patrolled working hours being made available 7 days a week (although demand for enforcement is usually expected to be Monday to Friday) and provide back office systems to process the charging notices and to provide management information.
The contract is expected to commence on 1st June 2016 for an initial period of 3 years with options to extend, on an annual basis, for up to an additional 2 years.
All submissions should be via BravoSolution, Centro's e-tendering portal (please see http://centro.bravosolution.co.uk).
The PQQ reference is pqq_65 and the ITT reference is itt_319 for this project.
Bidders are also asked to complete and submit a PQQ at the same time as their tender and only those responses that meet the minimum criteria satisfactorily will go on to have their bids evaluated.
Please note that the deadline for the submission of tenders is 12 noon on Monday 11th April 2016, via BravoSolution, and the deadline for any clarification questions is 12 noon on Monday 4th April 2016.
