Teach First National Conference 2017 and 2018
Teach First seeks a provider for our National Summer Institute in 2017 and 2018, including arena, meeting rooms, accommodation and catering.
The services are detailed in the Invitation to Bid and Specification documents.
Teach First recruits and develops outstanding classroom leaders in schools in challenging circumstances through our 2 year Leadership Development Programme (LDP).
More information can be found on our website: http://www.teachfirst.org.uk An important element of the LDP is the National Summer Institute.
This is a 1-week, residential, educational course which forms the final week of our intensive summer training programme prior to participants commencing in schools.
The dates for the events are: 29 July 2017 to 5 August 2017 28 July 2018 to 4 August 2018 The current projected delegate numbers (not confirmed) for the National Summer Institute 2017 and 2018 are between 2,720 and 3,535 including participants, speakers and support staff.
As part of the National Summer Institute, Teach First also deliver the 2-day ‘Impact Conference’ event.
For 2017, Teach First is exploring the possibility of a larger flagship event currently being referred to as ‘Challenge 17’.
The current projected numbers for ‘Challenge 17’ are 6,000 (but could be as high as 8,000).
These numbers include the delegates listed above.
The dates for this event are: 31 July & 1 August 2017 - Impact Conference/Challenge 17 2018 dates are TBC - Impact Conference The successful bidder will be expected to deliver the services and activity under the following key areas: - Supply of accommodation facilities - Supply of catering services - Supply of teaching Rooms - Supply of large capacity event space - Supply of conference support & venue amenities Interested parties should complete the attached pre-qualification questionnaire and submit it to Teach First via email to: siprocurement@teachfirst.org.uk.
Providers who meet these minimum criteria will be provided with the Invitation to Bid (ITB) and associated documentation.
