BFI Berkhamsted Workwear
The BFI National Archive at Berkhamsted and Gaydon holds the nations irreplaceable and invaluable collection of film and TV material, including stills, posters, scripts and books.
The earliest film in our collection is from 1895.
At our Berkhamsted site staff are working with all ranges of film and TV material at any one time.
Staff working with film material, stills, posters and scripts, require a fitted white lab coat to help protect the material they are working on and their clothes.
We require each member of staff to have a set of lab coats which are collected weekly for washing.
We also hold tours at the Archive, where lunches are provided.
These tours are intermittent so only a small amount of white tablecloths are required and will not require weekly washing.
Tea towels are also required for the canteen, which are to be collected weekly.
