Prior Information Notice (PIN) for The Provision of Car and Driver Hire Services to the Metropolitan Police Service - Duration from 2025 to 2029
Description On behalf of the contracting authority, the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) and Request for Information (RFI) for the Provision of Car and Driver Hire Services.
The purpose of this PIN/RFI is to engage with potential suppliers within the car and driver hire industry.
Background: The MPS is seeking an experienced supplier to work in partnership with the MPS to co-ordinate, manage, and deliver Car and Driver Services to support operational policing.
Policing London is the forefront of the MPS and a contract for car and driver hire will play an integral part in supporting the safe transportation of Police officers 24/7, 365 days a year.
The majority of car and driver hire requirements are for planned secure transportation of MPS staff, senior police officers and vulnerable victims or witnesses required to participate in judicial proceedings.
Some bookings may include transportation of luggage, boxes / folders, presentation / banner displays, etc.
Please note, the publication of this PIN and the engagement conducted within will not form part of any supplier selection process, evaluations or scoring.
However the MPS will reserve the right to review any information submitted by a potential Supplier (via this PIN) who then participates in a live tender opportunity, should there be any doubt by review of the MPS of any serious misrepresentation.
