Boiler Installation at Monkwearmouth Hospital

Monkwearmouth Hospital was built in 1932 and supports a range of mental health services for the local and wider communities.

To ensure the site can continue to support the delivery of our services, a programme of essential work has been identified to replace the existing below ground heating pipework with a new above ground system within the following areas; • Building 3 First Floor • Building 4 Ground Floor.

All existing radiators are to be picked up in each building listed above.

Costs are to include the tie in to the existing system located in the first floor plant room or ground floor corridor.
