The brief

The works generally comprise of the replacement of the existing boiler installation which serves a number of AHUs and heater batteries throughout the building.

The works will include the complete decommissioning and removal of all redundant equipment and disconnection of electrical supplies and BMS connections.

All waste to be disposed of via a recognized waste recycling Contractor.

The works are required to commence at the earliest possible date following contract award and accounting for lead in times for required materials.

Notwithstanding the previous statement, the PCC expects commencement on site week commencing 19th February latest.

This is an online ITT and bidders will need to open and work through the questionnaire which is the ITT as well as access the files in the documents folder.

There will be a site visit opportunity on Thursday 21st December 2023 and Tuesday 9th January 2024 this must be pre-booked by responding to the message regarding Site Visits which is available in the BlueLight portal message area for this tender.

We are mindful of many having a planned shutdown period therefore alternate dates may be considered if the two suggested don't suit.

The winning bidder may be considered for future opportunities in relation to Boilers subject to remaining public sector value for goods/services/supplies.
