Southend on Sea Borough Council Supporting People Team invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations to provide short term emergency access night shelter provision and support for non-statutorily homeless cases.
The capped value of this contract is £38,000 for 6 months and Southend Borough Council envisages awarding this contract to a maximum of 1 provider only.
However, pending a review of the local homeless strategy we are not able to state what the requirements will be after 1 April 2016.
The contract will be for an initial period of 6 months with the option to extend by a further 3 months with a proposed start date of 1st October 2015.
Southend Borough Council welcomes submissions from all organisational types, including the Third Sector and Consortia arrangements.
