The brief

The first topic for proposals relates to the field of design and performance assessment of designs for hypersonic intakes for scramjet propelled vehicles.

The second desired area of research proposals relates to the development of the ability to understand and predict aerodynamic heating and structural thermal loading that these vehicles will experience.

DST intend to fund this research as a PhD thesis.

Therefore this research study is only applicable to Universities.
