The brief

Energy Revolution: the Adani Green Gallery will address the most important issue of our time: the urgent need to transform our energy system in order to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.

While this topic might be familiar this gallery presents a fresh and inspiring perspective that will leave visitors feeling empowered about their role in shaping our collective energy future.

The gallery will reveal how imagining, projecting and visualising the future is a powerful tool which generates knowledge about our planet, stimulates innovation, and can drive positive change.

It explores how all kinds of people, including scientists, engineers, decision-makers and creatives, create and use visions of the future in their work.

Energy Revolution: the Adani Green Gallery will be located on the 850sqm second floor of the West Hall.

The gallery plate is a form of cantilevered tray with minimal walls and therefore has views across the West Hall galleries.

The new permanent gallery is anticipated to have a life span of approximately 10-15 years and will open in January 2024.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE The museum wishes to appoint a Creative Agency/Exhibit Maker to design, develop and two digital exhibits for the Energy Revolution Exhibition at the Science Museum.
