The brief

Social Work Training Programme Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint an experienced training provider to carry out a Social Work Training Programme to employees in our Adult Social Care settings.

As part of our learning and development strategy to support employees in our Adult Social Care settings we require a provider who will tender to facilitate training interventions in a range of development areas.

As such, the Council would like the provider to deliver training programme commencing 05 October 2021 to cover the following subject areas: - 1.

Social Work & Therapy Approach.

Social Work & Therapy Legal Framework.

Social Work & Therapy Capabilities 4.

Social Work & Therapy Safeguarding In addition to the social work training, we would like to procure some training for our commissioning team to be delivered within the 6-month period.

Whilst the number of delegates per session will be between 15-20 and the number of sessions is either 1, 2 or 3 sessions per course for the first 6 months of the contract, for future sessions the delegate numbers and number of sessions will be based on the subject matter and will depend on the needs of the business on a year on year basis.
