GRACE Replacement for FTR
The Government Banking Service (GBS) currently have a contract with a 3rd party provider to support their provision of Government cash management, which expires in 2020.
GBS are embarking upon a re-procurement exercise to replace this service.
As part of this re-procurement we want to refresh the business requirement • in partnership with stakeholders • take advantage of industry developments since the last procurement exercise and • gain knowledge of how other external organisations deliver and/or manage large scale cash management operations.
The replacement service must be fit for purpose, value for money and future proofed.
GBS would like to engage external expertise who will have experience in some of the following areas: a) large scale/complex cash management operations seen in other corporates or government organisations b) banking data formats i.e.
SWIFT, BAI2, impact of ISO20022. c) strong analytical skills d) turning business requirements into ITT specifications The service provider(s) will be required to support GBS and other stakeholders in robust requirement development and participate in early market engagement in advance of the formal procurement process.
