Manufacture , Supply and Installation of Communal Entrance Doors

EEM are undertaking this tender exercise to establish a framework on behalf of our members for the provision of Communal Entrance Doors, to be Manufactured ,Supplied and Installed by a specialist Security Door Manufacturer who is Secure by Design certified and can offer up to a 20 year guarantee on the whole door set .

The Specialist Security Door Manufacture and Designer shall have an understanding of the relevant Building and Fire Regulations and the Equality Act 2010.

To comply with environmental requirements the doors shall be manufactured from a 100% recyclable material.

The Quality Management System controlling the design, manufacture and installation of the doors and screens must be approved, certified and audited by an accredited authority (e.g.

British Standards Institution), as meeting all the requirements and conditions of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 The types of Door required under this framework and additional services will include; •Communal Aluminium Security Doors, - Wood faced Style •Communal Aluminium Security Doors - Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) •Fire Doors - Standard Vision Panel doors and Fully Engineered Door Sets •Varying window panel types •Stock Condition Surveys •Annual Maintenance EEM members are predominantly within the East Midlands but not exclusively so and may have requirements in other parts of England and 1 Wales.

The consortia is owned by our members which include Housing Associations, ALMO's, Local Authorities and bodies from the wider public, sector such as NHS hospitals, Universities and Police Authorities.
