The brief

Old Oak Common Phase 2 The Subcontractor is required to design, install, monitor and coordinate all Traffic Management arrangements across Old Oak Common area.

The Subcontractor provides TM drawings and schemes for each phase, delivers and installs all necessary equipment and produces bespoke signage as required.

The Subcontractor facilitates access for utility companies, and provides road safety audit support.

TM operatives are provided to manually control traffic signals, undertake maintenance and carry out required inspections, while emergency TM is provided upon request.

The Subcontractor is required to coordinate with others to ensure Traffic Management schemes are adequate and timely to deploy a safe system of works and enable others works to occur undisturbed.

The Subcontractor will also be required to coordinate with stakeholders to gather permits and all necessary approvals.

The Subcontractor provides all materials, labour, management, plant, equipment, supervision and administrative support necessary to fulfil the works in accordance with HS2 health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

This includes providing named management personnel, maintaining office-based management at Old Oak Common, attending on site meetings, managing fatigue and resourcing, and installing temporary pedestrian routes if required.
