1042 ECC Fuel Cards and Associated Services
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This is a large award for Office & Computing Equipment — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 8,857 valued Office & Computing Equipment tenders in our corpus.
Essex County Council (ECC) have awarded the requirement for a Fuel Cards & Associated Services Contract via Call-off against the Crown Commercial Services Fuel Cards and Associated Services Framework Agreement No.
RM6186.
This requirement ensures that ECC vehicles can continue to buy fuel (and non-fuel products) from petrol stations covered by the use of fuel cards.
The cards will continue to be issued to ECC's internal fleet and the services provided under the contract shall ensure ECC employees can purchase fuel compliantly through a centralised and consistent means.
The contract will provide ECC with access to a lower cost per litre of fuel compared with usual pump prices.
The contract will also include the ability to buy electricity at external electric vehicle charge points.
This will support ECC's ambition to move to a fully electric vehicle fleet.
The original contract term shall be in place for 3 years with a services commencement date of 1st March 2024 and a contract expiry date of 28th February 2027.
The contract has an option to extend for a further two (2) periods of twelve (12) months.
