WCC - Warwickshire Care at Home Services Lot 1 Spot Purchase - 2
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the upper-middle of the Health & Social Care band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
Warwickshire County Council is seeking tenders from new providers for Lot 1 of their Care at Home services in Zones 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
The purpose of this tender is to secure additional reserve spot capacity within the domiciliary care market for the zones listed in the contract documents, to support commissioned services during periods of pressure and increased demand, to ensure that customers have access to timely services.
We are seeking responses from providers who are already established and operating within Warwickshire's identified Zones (see Geographical Map Appendix 5) or the immediate neighbouring areas.
The initial requirement is for a number of providers (between one and five) to provide capacity across the above Zones during periods of pressure, however the Council may award more than one contract per Zone.
Furthermore, unsuccessful providers who pass the mandatory requirements (including stated thresholds) will be held on a reserve list and may be awarded a future contract for Zones if this is required to meet service pressures.
The aim of these services will be to deliver outcome based, personalised care to customers who have social care needs and may also have health care needs, to enable them and their informal carers to have choice and control over the support they receive, promoting independence while supporting them to achieve positive outcomes in all aspects of their life.
