PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE - APPLICATION FOR PROVISION OF MANAGEMENT OF H. PYLORI (UREA BREATH TEST) SERVICE

This is a prior information notice with future call for competition and its purpose is to make the market aware of the CCGs' commissioning intentions.

NHS Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be re-commissioning the 13C Urea Breath test in early 2019 for Leicester City patients only.

The aim of all the service is to ensure excellent patient choice across Leicester City for the provision of the 13C Urea breath test which is the test of choice to detect H Pylori.

It is proposed that the terms and conditions of all the services, including tariff arrangements, will reflect those contained in the NHS England Standard Short form contract.

The contract length will be 5 years.

The service will be commissioned via an Any Qualified Provider arrangement, advertised to all providers which is proportionate to the value and complexity of the service and contract.
