1769/337/MY/NAMRC/17 Research Multi-axis CNC Milling Machine The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a CNC Milling Machine on behalf of the, Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement This tender is for the supply, installation and commissioning of a free standing Lathe with Multi-axis milling Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machine for use in tool wear, coolant, and machining studies.

The equipment should have adequate robustness, high precision and repeatability to facilitate the manufacture of high performance nuclear components demanding tolerance requirements.

Machine should allow machining with high pressure coolant, through tool coolant, flood coolant and dry cutting.
