Requirements essential to performing this role: o Have an excellent telephone manner, providing great customer service. o The ability to liaise with customers, service providers and partner agencies to ensure effective delivery of the service. o Effective communication skills, recording information timely and with accuracy including maintaining confidentiality are a necessary function of this role. o The collation and maintenance of information is to be completed in accordance with relevant legislation and used to prepare reports. o There is a responsibility to identify and contribute to procedural improvements. o Use of IT equipment, specialist software and different systems is essential to maintaining records therefore undertaking training for competency of using a variety of systems is a requirement.
Qualifications: GSCE English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
Must be prepared to undertake professional and technical training when required.
Experience: o A minimum of 6 months experience working in a social care and/or health related role. o A minimum of 6 months previous experience of working on the front line within a customer-focused environment. o Experience of working as a team member. o Previous experience of using IT systems. o Awareness of Data Protection and Freedom of information Act. ***A Standard DBS check is required for this role.
