The brief

Expression of interest for the delivery of Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programmes in Various Areas In response to the ongoing demand pressures as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic Cafcass are looking for additional providers to deliver interventions to Domestic Abuse Perpetrators in Private Law Family Court proceedings in the following areas: Cafcass Service Area Geographical Area A2 Durham, Darlington, Teeside, North Yorkshire, York, Cumbria & Lancashire A4 South Yorkshire & Humberside A7 Avon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Thames Valley A8 Cornwall Devon & Somerset A11 Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire A15 Greater London The interventions will need to: • promote safe child arrangements and aim to reduce and manage risk to victims and children, • address abusive behaviours and hold perpetrators to account, • include an integrated victim safety and support service (ISS) which offer proactive engagement with all ex-partners and current partners, • offer a suitability assessment, including a motivational element to explore denial, resistance, and amenability to change with a view to maximum engagement with the programme, • Be capable of meeting diversity requirements of participants, • Be evidence based, • Be delivered in-person / on a face-to-face basis • Current commissioned program is between 24 to 32 sessions per attendee.

Potential providers should submit an expression of interest via the Cafcass e-procurement portal, https://procontract.due-north.com/Login • The expression of interest will need to cover: • Details of accreditation and the programme(s) including the victim safety support service available, • Mobilisation and lead in times, • What capacity you have, to deliver in the area(s) - min / max, • How you intend to cover the geographical area(s), • The cost of the intervention.
