The brief

Downton Parish Council, as the owner of the Downton Memorial Hall located in The Borough, Downton, Salisbury, SP5 3NB, is seeking expressions of interest from interested organisations for the above works.

The works, which have been granted planning permission by Wiltshire Council, consist of the replacement of an existing, single storey flat roof extension at the rear of the Downton Memorial Hall by a two storey extension which will provide new premises for the Downton Community Pre-School and two Community Meeting Rooms on the first floor.

The total footprint is 387 square metres.

Arrangements for visiting the site can be made with the Clerk.

Please note the following requirements of tendering contractors: • The contractor must be able to demonstrate successful completion of three previous projects of a similar nature.

Case studies and testimonials are also welcomed. • The contractor must be able to demonstrate a turnover of at least £2 million. • The contractor must provide current Public Liability Insurance certificate up to £5 million.
