Immersive Theatre Production - The Conan Doyle Collection
Portsmouth City Council is inviting quotes from suitably qualified theatre companies to deliver six different immersive theatre productions in shopping areas around Portsmouth during the February half term.\n \n The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to;\n \n • Six different 5 minute plays, all interconnecting that could form one larger play.\n • The iconic figure of Sherlock Holmes in each play\n • Each play to be accessible - catering for audiences including visually impaired, deaf, children and the elderly.
This could be done creatively, e.g. using smells to evoke memories or experiences.\n • Each play to be filmed via Facebook live and then to be uploaded to our website later on.\n • A larger performance of all six plays at the end of the week.\n • To hand out promotional items at the end of each performance\n \n The budget available is £15,000 and will cover all costs such as personal fee's, materials, meeting fees, hiring equipment, venue hire, travel and parking costs, public liability insurance and DBS checks.\n \n The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 27th January 2017. \n \n The closing date for receipt of your expression of interest is given against the heading entitled - Date documents can be requested until.
