This sits below the typical range for IT Services contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 36,449 valued IT Services tenders in our corpus.
Please see attached documents for full information but brief below:- The North York Moors National Park Authority (NYMNPA) is a local government authority.
Our statutory purposes are to: Conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the North York Moors National Park and promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the National Park by visitors and the people who live here.
We are seeking professional web design services to create a working HTML5 prototype website layout and templates which can be developed into a functional website on our existing CMS (Squiz Matrix).
Code will need to be modular and standardised to work with the Squiz Matrix CMS.
This will include new HTML, CSS and Javascript as necessary.
Accessibility is very important to us.
As a public sector body, our new website needs to meet the standards set out in The Public Sector Bodies (Website and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations which came into force on 23 September 2018.
This means that all content that goes onto our website needs to be accessible to all users and web developers should adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/).
This means that the design of the website, including colours, layout, images and related coding should be acceptable under the new regulations and will need to be accessible for hearing and visual impairments and those with physical/motor disabilities.
We will only shortlist companies with demonstrable experience building templates for sites using Bootstrap, Foundation or similar framework.
Proposals based on Wordpress or proprietary content management systems will not be considered.
