This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Government & Public Administration band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 5,438 valued Government & Public Administration tenders in our corpus.
BEIS needs to have a contingency within the existing contract for the continuation of the current services provided by Gemserv as the administrator of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for three months.
Two government incentive schemes (Feed-in Tariff Scheme, Renewable Heat Incentive) and the microgeneration industry rely on the functioning of MCS to develop and maintain standards, certify installers and installations in accordance with standards, to provide assurance to consumers and help the growth of the renewable microgeneration sector.
Germserv provide administration of the MCS which includes the following deliverables: financial administration, license services, database and website maintenance, database services, help desk, secretariat function (working groups, Management Panel, Steering Group), and reporting.
