The brief

NHS Rushcliffe Clinical Commissioning Group, for itself and on behalf of NHS Nottingham City CCG, NHS Nottingham North and East CCG and NHS Nottingham West CCG, interested parties to express interest in the opportunity to provide a high quality and value for money service to diagnose and treat people with conditions - this will be from referral through diagnosis to outpatient assessment and post discharge care.

The services will be provided from the Nottingham Treatment Centre and will cover care across the following specialities: • Colorectal Surgery • Dermatology • Gastroenterology • Gynaecology • Rheumatology • Trauma & Orthopaedics • Vascular Surgery • Endocrinology • General Surgery • Hepatology • Respiratory • Urology The service will deliver the aims by: • Having agreed clear evidence-based pathways & protocols (that comply with national/local guidance) • Mandating the use of standardised referral templates • Having clinical triage of referrals • Providing Advice & Guidance ahead of referral • Providing feedback on referrals received • Providing clinical educational sessions (both in the provider's own organisation and beyond) • Providing opportunities for generalist shadowing specialist clinicians • Using Patient Decision Aids (PDAs) and other quality patient information • Taking a multidisciplinary approach to patient management • Promoting Self-Care and Making Every Contact Count (MECC) • Utilising technology to support Service Users and Clinicians • Adhering to national and local service standards • Adhering to national and local targets • Adopting the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) methodology • Meeting Service Users physical, psychological and emotional needs • Developing 'proof of concept' pilots with commissioners, around alternative models of provision • Providing access to high quality interpreting and translation services for service users • Working with other local health economy providers and clinicians to the benefit of the local population This notice is a Prior Information Notice under permitted procedure for social and other specific services, as provided for in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 - Regulation 75.

In accordance with Regulation 75 (1)(b) of the Regulations, interested parties should note that the contract for the services may be awarded without further publication and interested parties should express their interest in writing by completing the response template attached to this advert.

Additionally, interested parties should note that the Authority intends to hold a Market Engagement Event on the 15th January 2018.

By expressing an interest all interested parties will be invited to attend.
