UKRI-6045 Child friendly temporary accommodation consultancy

UKRI seeks to appoint a people-centred design organisation to develop an evidence based design stage concept for a low cost replicable model of a child friendlier temporary accommodation for families.

The focus will be on developing design principles, layouts and specifications that can be transferred and applied across different temporary accommodation settings.

The project will involve: engaging with the local community; designing child-friendly adaptations to the building and producing a clear, transferable design pack.
