The brief

Rutland County Council is seeking to identify and appoint a single service Provider for a Sensory Impairment Service.

The Council is committed to the provision and delivery of high-quality services for people with a sensory impairment.

The Authority wishes to work in partnership with the Provider to deliver services which achieve and maintain value for money and are compatible with our strategic agendas.

The overall aim of the Service(s) is to support individuals with a visual impairment or hearing impairment or who are deafblind, through a strengths and asset-based approach, to maximise their potential and enhance their inclusion in everyday life.

The support options the successful Bidder offers will help people achieve the outcomes that matter to them in their life.

It will be focused on their needs, goals and wellbeing.

The service will make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of these individuals, their friends, families and carers.

The preventative, early intervention and rehabilitation work that the service delivers will help reduce the need for further, more costly support across health and care services.

The deadline for completed tender submissions to be received on the eTendering Portal is 12:00 noon on 1st November 2021.

The Contract is due to commence on 1st April 2022.
