Continuing Health Care (CHC) Review and Advocacy Services
For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition, this is to initiate a soft market testing process.
Staffordshire County Council wishes to commission the provision of a Continuing Health Care (CHC) review and advocacy service.
The Council work with a number of local Integrated Care Boards (ICB) to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved for people that have multiple needs requiring skilled interventions including needs that are related to their health, as well as social care needs.
There are processes in place to support people to make a request to the ICB for CHC funding, assisted by the Council.
There is also a joint funding arrangement in place for those people that have high health needs but do meet the criteria for CHC.
It has been identified that there are a number of adults with Council funded care services whom the Council believes are eligible for NHS Funded Continuing Health Care (CHC) but have been unable to secure funding for.
In order to gain market insight and feedback from providers in order to inform an appropriate Specification and model the Council invites potential providers to complete a Soft Market Test Questionnaire which can be requested by emailing Joanne Whitehouse, Senior Procurement Manager joanne.whitehouse@staffordshire.gov.uk This questionnaire should be completed and returned by 5pm Friday 8th November 2024 to commercial.team@staffordshire.gov.uk
