The brief

The scope of this contract is for the provision of Stage 2 Independent Investigating Officers and Stage 3 Panellists and Chair Service in relation to complaints which are subject to consideration in line with the Local Authority's statutory duties under The Children Act 1989 Representations Procedure (England) Regulations 2006.

It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 1 October 2020 and will run for a period of 1 year 6 months (18 months) making the expiry date 31 March 2022.

The contract will have an option to extend by up to a further 3 years in any combination of extension periods e.g. a further three years in one extension, two years and then a further year's extension etc.

This will be dependent on the offers available at contract reviews.

Extension is at the sole discretion of the Council making the latest possible end date 31 March 2025 .
