Business Support Services
Through the Sector Support Fund, Kent County Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultancy to undertake an in-depth analysis of the supply chain for the energy and Low Carbon Environmental Goods and Services (LCEGS) sectors to support clean growth and green recovery in the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) area.
This work builds on the now out of date analysis of the LCEGS Sector undertaken by the Council in 2012, which helped to shape the design of, and add value to, EU funded projects delivered across the SELEP area and provided the evidence base for regional growth in this emerging sector.
Achieving positive economic impact and change is an overarching objective of the work of SELEP.
Through this work, companies will be identified throughout the energy and LCEGS supply chain and be engaged to help inform and pilot a 'Clean Growth' Programme which will seek to identify and overcome significant barriers and challenges currently restricting economic growth and innovation in key opportunity areas in the sector, such as offshore renewables, green Hydrogen and nuclear.
This will enable a comprehensive and up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to be created and used to deliver a targeted programme of interventions to support growth in this sector.
