The brief

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (“Trust” or “Authority”) is seeking a partner to deliver and support a fully functional ophthalmology electronic medical record (“EMR”) solution.

This is to meet the needs and objectives of the Authority as a world leading ophthalmic clinical, research and educational organisation.

The EMR is required to enable the Authority to move to a paperless clinical record solution, accessible across all Authority sites, which will improve the quality of care and reduce administration and operational overheads, therefore improving both administrative and clinical service efficiencies.

The services will include (but are not limited to): • Supply and / or development of an EMR solution, including data migration and interfaces to the Authority systems • Supplier deployment support for an EMR solution • Support and maintenance arrangements for the EMR solution • Programme Management • Integration • Training (of Authority technical staff and Trainers) • Ongoing Service Management The Authority is using the UCL PPS e-Procurement portal powered by Due North to conduct this procurement process.
