The Authority wishes to award a contract for The Provision of a Speech and Language Therapist to Operate Across 5 Schools in the Scarborough Area, ("the Contract").

The Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) is to operate across 5 schools in the Scarborough area to identify potential speech, language and communication needs amongst the pupils of the 5 primary schools, and to provide support, guidance and interventions not only to the pupils, but also the staff at these schools and parents where applicable.

The Contract will be for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period of 2 years.

Therefore the total possible Contract duration is 4 years.

Please note: this requirement is being tendered in accordance with Regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations and thus the "Light Touch Regime" is being applied to the procurement process.
