ITT292 Appointment of a Lift maintenance and Emergency Callout provider
The University of Northampton is seeking an efficient, pro-active and responsive maintenance provider of lifts and lifting equipment throughout the university estate.
The Contractor shall be responsible for the management of assets as defined in appendix 4a ('assets' tab) The contract is for the provision of a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance, repairs, reactive callout and entrapment attendance from the University of Northampton's following sites: o Waterside Campus (NN1 5PH) o Scholars Green Student Village (NN2 7AL) o Development Hub (NN1 5FS), o St.
John's Hall of Residence (NN1 1DH) o University of Northampton Innovation Centre (NN1 1SY) o Icon Environmental Innovation Centre (NN11 1QB) Although 12 service visits per annum have been requested, alternative offers (with explanation) can be provided and explored should a provider be successful.
However, the university reserves the right to discount these in favour of the prescribed number of visits.
There is a minimum requirement of an online dashboard reporting in/out of service metrics and callout updates to be made available for client viewing alongside electronic reporting following all site visits.
The provider will act in an advisory capacity on current stock reliability and new technology to assist with callout prevention and future University developments.
The provider will be expected to highlight areas of potential savings (financial or downtime) that can be explored throughout the life of the contract and enable the University to minimise negative feedback (from users) and additional repair costs (through regular fault finding).
Consolidated monthly invoicing across all services will be required.
All assets are available for use by persons are subject to the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
