Residual Lines and Audio Conferencing

Modification Notice Original description: Negotiated procedure without prior publication (in accordance wit article 32 of Directive 2014/24/EU) Description of the modifications Variation to the contract value to due unforseen increase to the usage of audio conferencing due to homeworking during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Value remaining within the contract would not have been sufficient to cover the remainig contract term- until 30/11/2020.

Contract value increased by £16,500 Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances: Covid 19 pandemic resulted in the majority of DVLA staff working from home, requiring the conference calling facility.

This has resulted in a significant increase to usage of the conference call facility which is part of this contract.

The initial contract value would not have be sufficient to cover usage for the contract term
