3 Storey Fire Doors

FD30s Replacements and Upgrades: 3 StoreyLondon Borough of Harrow is implementing a complete overhaul of all flat doorsets in it's stock.

This is one phase of a larger commitment, that also contains shelthered and general needs blocks.

This phase is targeted at 3 storey, general needs blocks.

All flat doorsets are to be replaced or upgraded to meet the technical and performance requirements needed for a hinged FD30s fire resistant doorset.

All flat doors and frames are to be composed of a solid core, composite faced or painted product to provide a minimum of 30 minute fire resistance and smoke protection.

These doors are to be tested and certified by certifier or similarly approved independent test house.

All flat doors and frames & integral side panel/fan lights, regardless of style, are to be tested as a complete doorset to BS 476 part 20/22 from both sides (bi-directional) and independently smoke tested to BS 476 Part 31.

All tests must be carried out for the complete doorset (door, frame, ironmongery and letterboxes together).

Independent tests on these elements are not accepted.

All installers are to be approved by the manufacturer, we do not accept any 3rd party installers.

Proof of accrediation and certification of the installer and installation must be provided.
