Community Automated External Defibrillators Fund (Grant Administration)
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is seeking to appoint a supplier to manage the grant administration process for the Community Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Fund.
The £1m fund aims to support the public access of AED's by distributing AED's to local communities across England.
The DHSC is issuing this notice to alert potential suppliers to the forthcoming DHSC procurement.
Interested suppliers should review the attached specification which has been revised following Market Engagement earlier in the year (Market Engagement notice can be found at: https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/ec836af6-2f8e-4867-bcbf-bfaae5f0dcf5?origin=SearchResults&p=1 ) Interested suppliers should also complete the below actions. **Actions for Suppliers:** The opportunity will be open only to those suppliers who are on the Crown Commercial Service Fund Administration & Disbursement Services DPS (FAADS) (Agreement ID: RM6322).
Suppliers who are interested in tendering for this opportunity but are not yet on the DPS should promptly submit their application to join.
Applications can take 2-3 weeks to process so we kindly ask Suppliers to submit their application as soon as possible.
Suppliers can access the application form to join the DPS by clicking "Access as a supplier" under "Fund Administration and Disbursement Services" at https://supplierregistration.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/dps#financialservices.
DHSC intends to issue an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to Suppliers on the DPS on Friday 16th June and we anticipate the tender response period will be open for 4 weeks.
Please note that DHSC reserves the right to amend these timescales.
DHSC intends to use the DPS filters set out below and so suppliers should ensure they are able to deliver under these filters: • Sector (Buyers Sector) - Central Government • Services - Full Programme Management • Fund Type & Contract Value - Grant £1,000,000 - £2,500,000. • Location - United Kingdom, all England Regions.
We ask that suppliers applying to join the DPS also notify DHSC that they are doing so at the earliest opportunity by contacting CCSInbox@dhsc.gov.uk.
This is so that we can monitor interest of suppliers not currently on the DPS.
Suppliers should also register on DHSC's e-procurement portal if they have not already done so.
This can be done by going to https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome and creating an account.
