North Staffordshire CCG and Stoke on Trent CCG - Out of Hours and Front of House Services.

North Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent CCGs have undertaken the design of a new service model for an integrated GPOOH and FoH service for the population of Northern Staffordshire, in line with best practice nationally and with the aim to reduce the number of admissions into acute services.

This is a primary medical service to: a) Provide access for patients with a identified primary care medical need who initially present at A&E b) Provide urgent access to a GP during the out of hours period for patients assessed with a primary care need by the NHS111 service This will divided into LOTS, as determined in the Memorandum of Information.

Lot 1 — Out of Hours Service, Lot 2 — Front of House Service, Lot 3 — Combined Out of Hours Service and Front of House Service.

If and when this requirement is offered to tender, this will be done via electronic means using the internet.

Midlands and Lancashire CSU is conducting this procurement exercise as a central purchasing body for another NHS body with whom the successful bidder(s) will enter into contracts for the supply of the services.

Any other public sector body wishing to access the contract may do so only with permission from the contracting NHS body.
