This invitation to Tender ("ITT") is being issued in connection with the competitive procurement of a hybrid system with an ASHP and gas-fired boiler has been selected for installation in this building.
This has been chosen to support the whole building approach and ensure that the heat pump installed is of a suitable size for future demand.
Changing the heat exchangers and emitters will allow the heat pump to operate at a lower flow temperature.
The heat pump would then be able to operate at lower external temperatures thus removing the reliance on the oil (or gas) fired system.
