Supply of two Workboats at the Port of Ramsgate

Thanet District Council ("the Employer") wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the provision of two workboats at the Port of Ramsgate and invites prospective suppliers to submit a quotation to meet the Employer's requirements.

The Contract will be to supply two work vessels as specified within APPENDIX A of the ITQ Instructions Document; one of which is an open workboat for use by suitably trained employees of Thanet District Council within the breakwaters and the second to be supplied with a certificated skipper for assisting with the upkeep of navigational marks/lights and general Port Authority works and duties, including sea areas outside of the breakwaters.

The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 20 June 2022 for a duration of 5 years.

The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations.

Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Quote document.

Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 1 June 2022.

Completed quotation documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 9 June 2022.
