Plymouth City Council is planning to undertake the refurbishment of one of the City's Historic buildings.
The building in question is the Elizabethan House (New Street, Plymouth, PL1 2 NA) and the project will require the expertise of an Accredited Conservation Architect.
The Elizabethan House is: Grade II* listed building owned by Plymouth City Council; Dates from the late 16th / early 17th Century; One of the most complete and unaltered example of a jettied merchant's house in Plymouth; PCC would like to hear from Accredited Conservation Architect with relevant experience of working with historic timber framed houses.
A Request for Quotation (RFQ) exercise will follow and once appointed, the Conservation Architect will be required to assess the current condition, draw up and deliver a schedule of work for the refurbishment.
Work will need to be completed by 2020.
