The brief

Milton Keynes City Council are currently out to tender to commission a provider to develop and manage an online system to ensure the administration of Short Breaks online voucher booking system that enables service users which offers flexibility to book a short break activity directly online through the booking system.

This will give more choice and opportunities to all the children and young people with an ECHP.

This scheme would replace the paper-based voucher.

The booking system for Short Breaks will need to be accessible during the following times: o 24 hours 7 days a week o Monday to Sunday (up to 52 weeks per year) o Including UK Public Holidays Service Providers will be able to make online enquiries if there is a fault or support is needed.

With queries being responded to within five working days.

The Council proposes to enter into Contract for a period of 3 years from 21st July 2024 to 20th July 2027 (with an option to extend for two further periods of 2 years each making the possible contract term of 7 years, with the successful tenderer (Service Provider).
