The brief

The University of Manchester recently ceased work on two separate, but highly dependent, programmes of work to re-implement more recent versions of our core Human Resources and Finance systems.

Although these pieces of work were intended to remove technical debt and ameliorate support risk, there was also a core intent to seek transformation of our professional services.

In deciding on next steps, the University has recognised that an integrated, SaaS based ERP solution, offering core Human Capital Management and Financial processes, may offer the best solution for the University need to remove technical debt and enjoy key transformation outcomes.

The aim of this Request for Information is to further understand the market offer of integrated SaaS based ERP vendors and to form an understanding of potential costing information that might be used to form a Business Case for future implementation.

We are inviting responses from product vendors with Software as a Service ERP solutions that: o Are founded on an underlying Enterprise Structure and Unified Data Model that incorporates and fully aligns Financial and Organisational Hierarchies o Offer integrated end to end process journeys in BOTH People & Organisational Development and Finance disciplines.
