3411/AMRC/MY/22 Structured Light Scanning System The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Structured Light Scanning System on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.
Scope of Requirement The AMRC North West has a requirement to engage with local industries in the region and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges.
As part of that remit, there is a need to purchase an optical scanner to support the manufacturing projects.
The AMRC North West is also undertaking research within various manufacturing topics in the aerospace sector, specifically in the area of dimensional metrology of additively manufactured parts.
Within the facility there will be various manufacturing technologies and the optical scanner will be focused on undertaking measurement in support of this research.
This specification is aimed at purchasing a single optical 3D scanner for use in at the AMRC North West.
