The brief

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision a service to support those adults making direct payments for care in Swindon.\r \r Swindon Borough council is looking to procure a Direct Payment Support service for adults eligible for social care.

The service will include the following functions:\r • Information and advice on Direct Payments\r • Training\r • Facilitating peer support\r • Recruitment and payroll support\r • Managed Accounts \r \r Full details relating to the Service are provided in the tender documents.\r \r \r The initial contract term will be for two years with an option to extend for one year as stated in the ITT documents.

Estimated contract spend is in the region of £372,000 across the two year contract term.

All bids will be evaluated on quality and price.\r \r Full details relating to the Services are provided in the tender documents.\r \r To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents.

In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com\r \r Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal, including the project reference and title clearly in the Subject title, by 17th June 2024, 1200 hrs UK Local time.

The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically via Messaging in ProContract tender portal.\r \r Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 26th June 2024, 1400 hrs UK Local time via ProContract tender portal - https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/
