Survey, Design & Installation of Ship Hall Mega Doors Building 1/122 Ship Hall B was built in 2003.
The north elevation has a large opening (circa 47.1 m x 32.3 m) completed by two vertical lift fabric doors, separated by a removeable central mullion.
Both doors and mullion are in a poor material condition after 20 years, and the right-hand door (viewed from external) was damaged during a storm in November 2024.
The aim of this project is to replace the doors and associated equipment.
The contractor shall develop a fully detailed and construction-ready design package that includes technical drawings, installation methodologies, and a comprehensive compliance plan to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
