MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT - EXTENDED PRIMARY CARE FOR ELR CCG
Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (ML CSU) on behalf of the Commissioners, East Leicestershire & Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (ELR CCG) would like to invite providers to attend a 'Market Engagement Event' which will inform the market of the Commissioner's intentions to procure the Extended Primary Care Service.
The aim of all the services is to deliver essential, additional and enhanced services to registered patients in East Leicestershire & Rutland.
It is proposed that the terms and conditions of all the services, including tariff arrangements, will reflect those contained in Extended Primary Care Service.
The main benefits and expected outcomes are: • Equity of access and quality of the service across East Leicestershire & Rutland • Ensuring value for money and the most efficient use of available resources across the health and social care economy • Promoting and ensuring a positive patient experience • Aligning services to deliver the GP 5 Year Forward View The Market Engagement Event will take place on 16th August 2018 from 9:30 - 12:30 and will take place at Brockington College.
The Market Engagement Event will provide: • an overview of the service to be provided • details of the anticipated contract type, length and particular conditions • an overview of the procurement process and the anticipated timelines • an opportunity for you to ask questions and feedback on the presentations.
Places are strictly limited therefore reservations are restricted to no more than 2 persons per organisation.

The service will be commissioned via an open procurement process advertised to all providers which is proportionate to the value and complexity of the service and contract.
