West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is a new Unitary authority that came into existence on Thursday, 1st April 2021 following the Northamptonshire Structural Changes Order 2019.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to inform the market of a potential opportunity and gather feedback regarding the requirement stated below: WNC is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Workforce Service that will provide support, training, and professional development opportunities for professionals working in the field of drug and alcohol addiction.

The service should enhance the skills, knowledge, and capacity of the workforce to deliver high-quality interventions and support to individuals and families affected by addiction.

Provide a detailed description of the services to be offered, such as workforce training, professional development programmes, mentoring, and consultation services.

Highlight the importance of evidence-based practices, best practices, and the latest research in the field of drug and alcohol addiction.

Demonstrate your organisation's experience in delivering workforce development programmes and support services for professionals in the addiction field.

Demonstrate your commitment to compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and safeguarding requirements.

Estimated annual value of £155,000.

This is an estimate and may change.

Please submit an Expression of Interest, limited to two sides of A4, outlining how your organisation can meet the key points mentioned above for the Drug and Alcohol Workforce Service.
