The brief

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust (NMUH) has been commissioned by Enfield Council to provide comprehensive services in sexual and reproductive health, including treatment and prevention.

NMUH is seeking to commission a voluntary sector provider (VSP) for part of this work, particularly, the Contract will be let in two lots: Lot 1 Primary prevention of HIV and other sexually-transmitted disease Lot 2 Secondary prevention of HIV and other sexually-transmitted disease The VSP will work with other individuals and teams within NMUH, Enfield Council and other providers.

NMUH and Enfield Council believe that the involvement of VSP is needed to provide culturally sensitive, holistic care to the population in need, and to achieve ambitious objectives in terms of disease prevention and health promotion.

Given the wide range of services requested in this specification, it is possible that a collaboration of several VSP’s may be the best candidates for delivering this work.

NMUH wishes to invite such collaborations provided that the respective roles of individual organisations are clearly defined.

Please note that this tender is being managed by UCLPartners Procurement Service on behalf of the Trust.
