1551/316/SW/IT/16 IT Asset Lifecycle Management System The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of an IT Asset Lifecycle Management System for use within the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, Rotherham.
Scope of Requirement: The AMRC is seeking a solution to manage all Windows endpoints (laptops, desktop PCs) and, if possible, Apple Mac OSX based devices.
The intention is to upgrade all Windows endpoints to Windows 10 using a volume licence provided by The University of Sheffield and improve security at the edge of the IT estate including removal of all local administrator rights on endpoints.
It is also the intention to provide a faster way of provisioning new equipment to staff, faster distribution of new versions of software and provide a faster way of provisioning equipment returned to the IT department.
